Well maybe I was a bit rude but I was also tired of the concept of JRF just giving our product away. Our prices aren't out of line with what's already out there and we work very hard to ensure quality. We are also a company that subsists on the sale of our downloads and CDs. This isn't a hobby it's our business. It is never my intention to be rude or disrespectful sometimes it just reads that way.

I voted "maybe". I have all the stuff from 2004 onwards. It would be nice for selected episodes of earlier shows. I remember in the late 80s when I started collecting, a major dealer at the time charged $12.00 per hour for custom cassettes. I read in old newsletters where it was $10 in early 70s dollars. I wish I had known about the uncirc. 1944 15 minute Nick Carters he had, even at $12 per hour. For a little while, IT used the white-topper porcelain CDs. Those are much better archivally then shiny silver, but they're also more expensive. Normally on OTR, I always rip the show to mono .wav (and correct volume and speed mistakes from the vendor if necessary) and archive the CD as disaster backup.

I don't think the price is too high, I just don't see the point.

Ok here's a reality check for those you think the price is too high. The downloads, once loaded into the system reguire nothing from any of the staff to prepare or ship out. A single episode on a CD will reguire the purchase of a blank CD, the time to burn the CD the cost of the ink to print the label, the cost of the label, the cost of either the CD jewel case or paper sleeve, if a jewel case is used then the cost of the purchase of the insert. Then you have to factor in the cost of the mailing box, the shipping tape and the postage the postage. I'm sure there is something I'm missing but we'd didn't just arbitrarily (sp) decide on the $4.00 cost.

Price is too steep for a single episode. Move it more in line with MP3s. Also, do you ever have sales? Would love to have the compilations but $50 is far too steep. Consider please.
