Yes, Larry, there is a reason to "go over this again". It is because Powder River is THAT much of a dud. A tremendous dud that bores the listener to such a degree that it borders on evil. As a matter of fact, I believe we have to consider the fact that Powder River might be a plot of terrorists to lull us into such a stuper we cannot react. Alarm all listeners; when you listen to Powder River, the terrorists win!!!

Ok folks, by this time we're all aware that Powder River is not some peoples cup of tea, is there any reason to go over all of this again?

(except for the first two the order sometimes changes.) 1. Movies For Your Mind 2. Crisis 3. Sherlock Holmes 4. Harry Nile 5. Kincaid The Strangeseeker 6. Hilary Caine 7. Raffles The Gentleman Thief 8. Mr. Darnborough Investigates And in very very last place: Powder River. And you know why? Because it's boring. Unless you've heard it from the beginning it's no fun. I heard the first six episodes and gave up. My girlfriend started to listen at about episode 14 and she didn't like it because the characters were 'stale'. Powder River is a dud. Sorry all you Powder River fans, but that's my opinion. It's an absolute dud. When Powder River is on i turn the dial. Everything else on Imagination Theater is top notch though, i love it! Keep up the good work!

Lydia, check out our Weekly Shows on CD for titles you don't currently have. You're right "Go Saints!" Why? Because New Orleans needs something to feel good about again.

I am also an avid Sherlockian, and am patiently awaiting new features. After purchasing ALL Jim French SH episodes, I am currently cataloging them. Larry...113, well I definitely don't have that many! How can I get the ones I don't currently own and are not listed for instant downloads or weekly shows on CD? Also, I simply adore the Hillary Caine mysteries!! GO SAINTS!!!

On your comment David, all I was saying was some people take the debate too far as I am sure you are aware. I like most of what I have heard from Jim French, and most of what I have heard from Colonial Radio Theater. I could not pick a favorite because I listen to Sherlock Holmes, Harry Nile and Powder River equally. Do you know how I can get in touch with other radio drama fans? I am the only person I know that listens to it. Thanks

sorry Larry, I agree I haven't heard a new episode on XM in a long time and I record SH and HN everyday to listen to.

Good heavens Bert! We recorded and aired 113 episodes so far and that's too few?

I have been a Sherlock Holmes fan since I was 11 years old (47 now). I have a large number of the old radio programs ('30's on up). I really enjoy your series' very much as far as plot, sound quality, authenticity to the A.C. Doyle character, and just pure entertainment value. My only complaint is that there are not enough episodes! Keep up the good work!

Raffles is my second favorite series, behind only Powder River. Keep the good programs coming our way Mr. French.
