Wow--this discusssion is like the Gunfight at the OK Corral. Just relax and enjoy the programs.

I love Powder River, count me as a fan. While there are some other programs that I do not like much at all, I prefer to be quiet and not to emphasize the negatives. Wouldn't we all rather promote the positives? Besides, nowhere in this poll do they ask which programs do you hate. They are explicit in asking which is your favorite. People who just want to trash other shows need to think of why they want to upset others Jim French fans. Play nice all.

"why isn't Movies For Your Mind or Crisis on this poll?" Good question. The poll program we use has just so many slots and I chose to list the shows with continuing characters. For those of you who prefer the anthology series like Crisis and Movies for your Mind I'll see what I can do to let your voices be heard.

The remark equating "Powder River" with terrorism is so offensive I can't let it pass. And it won't do, Dave, to say you were joking or that those of us who take offense should lighten up. People die from terrorism. None of us is unaffected by it. Your insensitive remarks add exactly nothing of value to the discussion of radio drama. Instead, they trivialize terrorism and are a slap in the face to the tens of thousands who grieve for loved ones killed, maimed and wounded. You should be ashamed of yourself. I doubt that you are. In my experience, people capable of feeling shame do not make these kinds of remarks in the first place.

Powder River is a staple of Imgination Theatre and unless Colonial Radio asks us to remove the show it will air as a part of our line up for quite sometime to come. If you don't care for the show than don't listen to it. How difficut is that to figure out? Dave you have made the same tired observations for so long that I don't understand your need to constantly repeat yourself. The show stays, get over it.

To me Sal and David have a need for attention, apparently, any kind of attention will do. No offense meant, but if you do not get Powder River, we feel sorry for you. Many of us love it, and no matter how obnoxious you both try to be over and over again. We will not be changed, we will just feel sorry for you. As Larry said, your behavior is getting "stale".

David, Your Remark that ". . . I believe we have to consider the fact that Powder River might be a plot of terrorists to lull us into such a stuper we cannot react. . . ." is totally of-the-wall and uncalled for. As one who had to deal with Real-World Terrorists (the Baader-Meinhof Gang) my service U.S. Army, I find your Remark in INCREDIBLY POOR TASTE!
