Hello; in some ways this is a tough poll for me. I thoroughly enjoy all the shows listed here along with the Movies for Your Mind series, and deciding among any of them as my favorite is daunting. It's more like a situation in which when I hear a string of episodes featuring one character or another, while I love hearing the episodes, I'm often wondering things like 'how are the other ones doing?'. So for me I'd really like a pretty good mix of episodes of all the characters or series, I hate missing any of them. Otherwise, (by the way, for the Marine, OO RAH! I'm an old Bee from the USNR and was in NMCB 26 and NMCB 15 as a storekeeper during my moves in the Midwest. We--the Bees--to make a long story short routinely have a senior enlisted Marine or two in each of our NMCBs), take care and best wishes.

Walt if you heard Louis L'amour then it was an old show. We did not pick up the contract when we took over syndication in 2007. In the eighties there was a syndicated program called the Louis L'amour theater and that may still be out there.

This poll is "NOT FAIR" .... to all of us who thoroughly enjoy Radio entertainment over teliesvision. I personally enjoy all the episodes, even as Harry Nile has always been my favorite since the beginning with Phil Harper and his total commitment to the series and his attitude that his grandchildren would be proud to listen, and how can one NOT enjoy all these shows. Thank You one and all who bring forth such great entertainment for the mind, as the mind is truly the home of entertainment... Have to go with Sherlock Holmes--could listen to them forever. John Patrick Lowrie's delivery is perfection. Larry Albert brings a lot of depth and complexity to Dr. Watson. All of the programs are terrific, however. Please keep up the good work. Pat & Lee

A tough choice for me to make, but I would have to say Powder River followed by Harry Nile.

All the Jim French programs are top notch. Right now, I am really enjoying those Powder Rivers and will miss them when they are concluded.
