HARRY NILE, SHERLOCK HOLMES, RAFFLES AND HILARY CAINE ALL ON THE SAME STAGE
On Monday September 13th at the Kirkland Performance Center Karen Heaven (The Hilary Caine Mysteries) and John Armstrong (Raffles, the Gentleman Thief) will join John Patrick Lowrie and Lawrence Albert on stage in a presentation of a specially written adaptation of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle classic Sherlock Holmes adventure "The Illustrious Client." Dramatized by British writer M. J. Elliott with both Karen and John in mind this will be the first time these four actors have appeared together at KPC since the well remembered 500th episode recording session back in September of 2005, plus this will be Karen's first performance in front of a KPC audience in a role other then Hilary. Joining these four will of course be the marvelous Dennis Bateman and a new find for us talented Kira Lauren.
The Illustrious Client is one of Doyle's darker stories and deals with a subject all to common today in real life, serial killings, but done in the tasteful style of the Victorian Age. However, before we get to that play Harry Nile will open his files and take everyone through "The Case of the Busy Body." This is a murder mystery with a touch of Hamlet tossed in for flavor. Larry Albert returns as Harry with Dennis Bateman, Peter Kelley, Susanna Burney and Norman Newkirk joining in the fun. As usual Andee and Jody will be manning the sales table in the lobby with several new items on hand.
So come on down to the Kirkland Performance Center, 350 Kirkland Ave., Kirkland WA and of watch Imagination Theatre come alive before your eyes. Or close them as we record and let the theatre of your mind open its curtains. For Tickets simply call the box office at 425 893 990 or go online to www.kpcenter.org. Doors open at 7:00. That's Monday night September 13th and come on up after the show and let us know how you liked it. We'll see ya there.

WE HAVE A WINNER!
Our own Sable Jak's audio drama script: "A Rebecca Bowen Mystery, An Elemental Horror" has received a Spirit of Moondance award in the audio-drama script division of the Moondance International Film Festival. The festival is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado and is sponsored by people such as Jodi Foster's Egg Productions, and Oprah Winfrey's "O" magazine.
"In 1890's London the highest paid private detective is a woman, Rebecca Bowen". Loosely based on a real female private detective in 1890's London, Rebecca is a "New Woman", independent, bold, educated. She is the daughter of a Barrister and a suffragette mother. She has a nose for mystery and a need to find the truth. She is assisted in her endeavors by her Russian/English bodyguard (and lover) Jack Saunders and her parasol wielding Irish maid-turned-secretary Polly Penniford.
In "An Elemental Horror" the trio travels to Montbury Manor to investigate if there really is an evil Elemental Spirit haunting the halls, or if someone is bent on driving Lady Montbury and her household mad.
Congratulations to Sable
